Here are some fun places to go for a date in San Francisco that doesn’t include making a stop at Fisherman’s Wharf to look at the original Starbucks.
Not only is the idea behind this genuinely altruistic but it’s also just adorable! KitTea is a real cat cafe, with real adoptable cats that are ready to find a sweet loving home. There are plenty of other cafes in San Francisco but this one is unique and will definitely make a good impression. However, just as a precaution, it might be a good idea to ask if your date is allergic to kitties or philanthropy.
Tony’s is one of the best pizza places in the city! This joint gets quite a bit of foot traffic so make sure that you come with an appetite but not starving. Pizza addicts will love that Tony’s stays open quite late and the patio seating outside makes it a nice place to hang out in the afternoon.
Located in the newly developed Mission Bay area, this is the perfect place to meet up with someone and grab some coffee. The food is delicious and the decor is definitely Instagram worthy. Additionally, if you do decide to get your coffee to go you can walk right around the corner and walk over to the park.
Church is a cute little bar and fantastic place to have drinks. With an intimate vibe and an equally friendly staff, consider this one a good spot to cozy up to someone special and have some casual drinks. (Bonus points for being a SF bar that actually has the music at an eardrum friendly volume!)
Okay, not technically one physical place, but it’s definitely worth considering! Hop aboard this flamboyant and colorful bus (how can those colors not put you in a good mood?) and tour the history, culture, and spirit that makes up San Francisco. Groovy, right?
